O.S. 18 in a Revo
I was just curious how much more power the O.S. 18 had over the stock 2.5R. Is there a big difference I don't want to go nut with a big block and make the truck uncontrolable but would like a decent amout of power. More than stock. Any feedback would be apreciated.

The only thing the OS .18 has over the 2.5r, is a little bit of bottom end. They are both about the same in top end. Starting from a standstill, my 2.5r vs. a friends OS .18TM, he gets about 2-3 feet off the start, but from there on, neither is faster. One thing that keeps me from switching to the OS, is I'm still on my original 2.5, he's on his 2nd OS, and another friend running the OS is on his 3rd engine, in the same amount of time.

OS18 is a great engine. Has quite a bit more power then the stock 2.5R - you are able to gear it a little higher due to the extra torque it has. Plus, it idles great and holds a tune far better then the 2.5R (at least the OS18 I had was easier to tune then my 2.5R was)
