when running an O.S. .30...
I'm planning, sometime in the future, to get an O.S. 30. I already had CVD's installed, so besides that and the bigblock kit, what else will I need? Maybe a better set of diffs? Also, what pipe works best?

I have one in my Revo - you will need a bb mounting kit (qoncepts is the best one) - starter box, 18t or 19t CB, shim kit, and 3 shoe alum clutch - make sure you have FOC already done. The stock driveshafts are fine - that is about it. I also got the qoncepts engine bay brace as I bent my chassis without it. It is a good engine, but is WAY too rich from the factory. Especially the LSN - I had to turn mine in almost 2 turns from where it was - then I started working on the HSN - it took a full gallon to get going good...now, it has tons of power, very, very tight pinch. Great bashing motor - there is so much torque...it will flip very easily with 19/36 gearing! It is NOT a top end motor...if you are looking for top speed, this is not your engine, but for an all around bashing engine with TONS of torque, great idle, holds a tune, this is it...good luck!

Pipe - sorry about that...I started with hpi ripple pipe - it worked alright. Got the CVEC revo bb pipe for .21 and up - major difference! More power everywhere, better shound, better running....works great! Also, I have went through two diffs since this setup...both times were my fault (one time slipper too tight, another time trying to land a double backflip and I was on the gas hard when I hit the ground).
