CA models Epsilon 40
I am pretty new (4 days) into elecrtics and need a little help.
Would a Axi 2826/10, 4s2p, CC45 amp, setup work with a
CA Models Epsilon 40 or is it just to small?

I was thinking that the motor setup would be underpowered.

first thing needed, is what size prop will it turn, at how many rpm, and how many cells, and what estimated amps? I know this sounds silly, but if you can figure out the rpm and size of the prop with the glo motor, overall weight, then convert it to electric power, it will work fine... a 12X10 prop at 7000rpm on a 4 pound model doesn't care what the fuel is.....surprisingly, you will be amazed at how little wattage is really required for beginning pattern...I fly a Venus on 3S lithiums, and while not overpowered, has way more than required for intermediate routine. Just be careful you don't " cross the line" into 3D power land........you don't need it for pattern.

Your ESC might prefer a little smaller prop
12x6,5 prop, on 4x 2p Kokam 2000, at 41,7, for 9260 rpm
I think a plane around 1.5 to 2 kg (3 or 4 lbs) all up should work OK.

Hi, recently I finish a Pattern style model that should weight 2000g(70.5 Oz) with a glow engine. But instead, I put a Himax 3516-0840, a CC Phoenix 45 amp, APC-E 12x8 and a Hyperion VX 2100 11.1v.
With that setup the plane weight 1600g(56 Oz.), and it does all the pattern sequence without problems....I have 10 minutes of full power. This is because a plane that weight 70 Oz glow powered, doesn´t mean that should have the same weight with an electric motor. In fact I just prove that with an electric setup the plane weight 400g(15 Oz) less!!(particularly in this type of aircraft).
