Does any cluthbell work in a savage.

Ofna clutchbells will work, BUT sometiimes from some variables, Ofna bells will hit the face of the spur gear because they are longer in length that Savage clutchbells.

XTM M/T clutchbells will work also, as will Sportwerks buggy clutchbells (these ones are pretty close to the same size as the stock Savage ones.

I posted this in the large savage X thread....

Hey guys....here's an update on the CB/spur gear alignment. If you are using the stock CB's (either the 15T or the 18T) chances are you will need to shim behind the flywheel as previous pointed out in this thread. However, I just installed a 17T aftermarket vented CB last night, and I had to REMOVE the two shims I had behind the flywheel to make the alignment still perfect. So...if you are not wanting to shim behind the flywheel (for whatever reason---and you have a CB/spur alignment issue), consider getting an aftermarket CB. This is the one I just installed (comes with bearings).
