make sure the glow plug is in tight enough. does the engine start? if not, remove the end of the fuel line that goes into the muffler and blow in it to force the fuel into the carb. infact, this is how i prime it every time i start it. good luck

when was the last time this truck was run before this problem?
Did this truck set for awhile with fuel in tank?
Did you check the O ring on fuel tank lid for leaks?
Is the exhaust header gasket between the header and the engine
block ripped or missing? Need some clues to help you.
One easy one , are you sure the fuel tank lid is completely
closed?

Well, if the blockage is in the carb, take the carb off, dissassemble it and clean it. I think you can get a rebuild kit so that you can put in fresh o-rings, etc.
Don't try to clean it on the engine, you don't want whatever is blocking it up to get into the engine.

Take off the carb and disassemble everything, then flush out the fuel nipples and needles with fuel and put it all back together once it's totally clean from debris. Then I'd suggest getting a fuel filter so you don't get any dirt in your carb, and you don't risk ruining your engine.

Yeah, blow anything blocking the fuel on into the engine. That's a real good idea......NOT

Maybe I was a bit harsh. Sorry, just hate to see advice given that can harm someone else's stuff.
Dynasty said take the fuel line off the exhaust nipple and blow into it to force fuel into the carb. That's fine for priming (which is what dynasty was saying) but a poor way to clear a blocked carb.
itspuddingtime and I were the ones that suggested taking the carb off to clean it.

If you've eliminated all the oyher posabilities like air leaks, etc. Then, yes, I would take the carb off, take it apart and clean it and put all new seals, o-rings on when it goes back togeather.
