i will break in my sav using heat cycle i want to piston to be at the bottem of the sleve or the top when shut off??

Bottom. being at the bottom allows the top of the sleeve to shrink down to its proper size

Mark the flywheel with some paint or nail polish at BDC (Bottom Dead Center) and you can always find it again. It's good practice to always leave your car with the piston at the bottom.

I use rechargeable AA batteries made by Duracell, 2300 mah I believe, and they last a really long time. I get multiple outings out of a single charge. Just don't use standard alkalein batteries in it and you will be OK.
