I just put one on my Savage LE. It came with the wrong screws (should have two 5mm hexes) and it does not work really well with the Rotostart, IMO. The mounting bracket partially blocks the space that the Rotostart shaft goes through and the pipe itself gets in the way, too. I had to take it off and do some bending to the bracket in order to make it work.

It is also difficult to prime the motor, since you have to put a finger over both stingers and run the Rotostart at the same time. It is especially hard for me because my glow plug igniter will not attach to the glow plug unless I'm holding it (broken) and I usually blip the throttle. I look like some sort of contortionist when I'm trying to get it started. []

One more thing....it may be just me, but the truck seems to have slightly less power with that pipe than it did with the original LE pipe.

Does the supercharger shorten the lifespan of the engine or something?

I just finished running the truck, so it is grimey. I took a few pictures, but my camera sucks, so I'm not sure what you will be able to see in these pictures:

The pictures are not that bad. If you could maybe get a picture of the part of the engine where the roto start is that would be great.

These pictures are worse because I cannot take close up shots with this camera. You probably cannot see it, but the second picture has the Rotostart shaft in place and it is touching the top of the bracket and the bottom of the pipe at the same time. The shaft of the Rotostart and the bracket rub enough that it is wearing the metal on both. []

This is my first attempt to use this pipe, so I will have to do some more bending before I try to start it again. So far, I'm not happy at all.

I've got to go and get my son out of the tub.....be back, later.

Dude, those "dual" exhaust systems are the BIGGEST ripoff gimmick, and a TOTAL waste of money! The kill top end power, and hinder rotostart operation. A nitro engine needs a tapered "divegerant cone" style exhaust to help scavenge the cylinder for top performance. All that POS dual system is, is a round chamber, with 2 exhaust outlets.
