Hello,

I wish Caps were in the norm these days. If DA had released the new motor by now I would be doing the competition Extra 300 132". But the DA is not available. Looks like the Yak and Extra 300 are the top runners.

Thanks
John

a bipe would be cool with a 96 inch wing span. Or make a extra 260! I can tell you that it would be a success in the 35-40% scale.

Hello,

Well the votes as of 5 24 2006 with postings and emails is as follows:

40% Yak 54 69 Votes
42% Extra 91 Votes
40% Sukhoi SU26mx 103 Votes
Velox Rev II 22 Votes
42% Giles 300 5 votes

Im will make a final decision at the end of the month. I also wanted to announce that Futaba will be stepping up to make the airplane complete with a Radio (TBA) recievers, servos etc. I would like to thank Frank Knoll and Amanda for helping with this. The plan is to fly the plane right after the winner is announced and let the winner get to fly it that day. We will have a total list of sponsors by the end of the month. Please support them all and the event.

Looks like the sukhoi is winning. How are the plans coming along? Will you have one ready in time for this to get finished up? I always like to see when the companies put a little back into the hobby like this.

Hello,

Well the Votes have been counted. The 40% Sukhoi 26 is the clear winner and we will go with that plane for the Tucson Raffle. We will have a build thread going when it is started. Thank you all for the votes in the forum and emails.

Thanks
john
