My Lucky Day
So, a while ago, someone posted a post asking how they coud lower their suspenion.....someone said just use zip-ties.
So I grab some zip-ties and attach them to the Body Mounts and A-arms. The shocks have about 5-10 mm of give. (I didnt want to make it too low, othrewise the frame would hit the ground/.)
So i'm racing around, full throttle taking turns at the furthest degree the truck can go..and all four's are still on the ground..WOW...
...IMPRESSIVE...
So as I'm doing some turns, i stop for a second, and let the engine 'relax' a little bit. As it's stopped for about 2-3 seconds, the engine shuts off, i look at it, and smokes coming out from inside the cooling head....[X(][X(][X(]
Uh-Oh.....so I take off the body and turn everything off and unplug the blue glow plug wire, and partialy take out the glow plug. (My hope was to let the engine cool down faster....
So i wait about 5-10 minutes, and HOPE ..... just HOPE....i didn't break the engine...
put the glow plug and blue wire back in, stick in the ez-start, and..........the engine starts...........i drove for about 2 minuteds longer too make sure everything was stil topsy tervy and it was...so now i can say I am one Lucky Man this friday afternoon
I think that maybe i was runing a little too lean...oopps...so ill have to change that, but hmm..what couda caused that..
p.s., post some stories about any lucky experiences you've had with your truck here too...
