Default emaxx transmission 4 crawling?

I'm looking to make a crawler. just wonted going to see if a emaxx transmission will work good or just go with a 272?

e-maxx tranny will work good, but it depends on what chassis you will be using due to size issues

yea the E-maxx tranny is tough but it is pretty big i think somthin like a pede trany would be better...

Just make sure you lock the emaxx trans in first gear if you are going to use it.

idk.. i crawl with my e-maxx.. it is mostly stock besides spools and a 65t lathe and single shocks in each corner.. I kept the gear shifter... some times it just needs that little it of extra wheel speed to get over the top.. and when i put it in 2nd gear.. that does it for me. I think it is actually very helpful.

yeah that seems like it might actually be a cool feature, my sw2 is too slow, but if i could shift it, it would help out in those tough areas were wheelspeed is needed!
