How to Create Multi-Part Covering for a Non-Sheeted Structure
I discovered something new this time. I've been using the tip of the iron trying to avoid shrinking the covering next to the seam. I had my iron way turned up and it still wasn't bonding the covering together.
Finally I became so aggravated that I decided I had nothing to lose by setting the whole shoe down on the covering. It bonded it very well and didn't distort the covering at all. I'm a very happy guy right now.

CafeenMan,
I am new to this forum, but found your article very helpful and well documented with pictures. I also enjoyed your 'side-story' link about the foreman in your shop (quite the enthusiast from what I can see)!
Best Regards,
