The best one is the one that fits your price range, fits your hand, and will do what YOU want it to do.
2.4 GHZ FM FHDSS is the way to go no worries about other radio conflicts.

It depends on how much you want to spend for $200 and under the Hitec SRX or SRX are great. For $201 and up the Ex-10 Helios, Nomadio Sensor, and M11 are great radios.

In the $100 area, are the Hitec SRX, Futaba 3PM, and Airtronics MX-3. All good feature-rich radios.
Go to your lhs and get your hands on a few. See how they fit.
