STS 28
I just got the Sts 28. Wow what a strong engine!!!! I can only compare it to the hpi 25 But... I am still braking it in but it is faster at half throttle then the 25 WOT. In my opinion. I cant wait till it is all broken in.!!!!

RE: STS 28
i have the STS.28. I agree it is a very powerful engine but on mine the starter shaft has jammed in the back plate and it has only had 10 tanks through it []. im going to take it back to my LHS and see if they can sort it out.

RE: STS 28
Had mine since Nov. 2005 from RacerNine and still in the box (shrinked wrap). This will go into another Savy I'm building...
For bashing now, my current savy has a XTM 24.7 pro engine....very fun...
Enjoy..

Just a bit of advice ... If you use the Sts rotostart backing plate and a wheelie bar You will need too grind a little on the inner web of the shock tower for the roto shaft too work. Its not hard if you have a dremel and it puts the shaft at an angle but it is working for me.

RE: STS 28
On EBAY, I paid 119 plus 11 for shipping so $130 . The guy in texas has 4 left .I here there is a new 8 port STS .28 comming out any day now . You may want to check into that .I think the standard 3 port will be fine for me though. I have seen videos of them pulling the wheels at like 20 mph roll. good luck

RE: STS 28
Thanks for the info . and yes those videos are pretty cool huh? They give you an idea that the STS .28 has lots of power and top end kick.If this engine works out great then I probably try one of those new 5 ports when they come out .For the price, it doesnt hurt so bad to pick one up.
