Would this work?
Hi I was wandering if i could buy another rx for my truck and do a whole nother hump pack and switch setup just for my steering. So i would have i rx for throttle reverse and i rx for my steering. so i would have 2 hump packs and 2 rx's so all i would need do to is make sure they all are on the same freq? Would this work? I have problems with battery life since i bought my new steering servo. Its didgital over 300ox torq and really sucks it down. Thanks for all the help!

Make sure its all the same brand and it should work like a charm. However why not get a Lion battery and a voltage regulator? Less weight less to go wrong less space needed and lighter.
I am running 2 JR 9000 300+ in/oz digitals servos and a BIG Futaba Digital in my 1:5 scale with a 2400 Lion pack one hour no problem

Skip the second receiver and hook up another hump pack in parallel to the first. You can probably get the proper cable to do it from any LHS that carries plane accessories because it's pretty common to do that with planes.
Make sure you charge them separately though.

Hey thanks for the replys! I will look in to geeting a l-ion battery if they are expensive i think i saw a hookup that will work to hook up the existing battery together. Thanks again!

If you're thinking about lithium batteries, please check out the [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_84/tt.htm]batteries and chargers[/link] forum here at RCU. If not cared for properly, lithium batts can be a serious fire hazard.
Parallel packs are the easiest solution. It just takes a Y cable and another battery.
