Motor Saver Mod
A couple weeks ago I bought a motor saver air filter and went to go try it out and found that the gap between the filter spout to the carb and the spur gear was really small. Well, wouldn't you know, after I ran the truck I looked at the filter spout and saw that the spur had cut right through it. As I was contemplating having to buy another Air filter, I though I would crazy glue the motor saver filter to the stock Traxxas filter spout. It fits great. Glue works really good. I was a little anoid in the design of the motor saver spout. Has anyone else had a problem with theirs and what did you do about it?

RE: Motor Saver Mod
My spur put a very very small hole in the neck of the air filter. I'd like to get a new one of those necks, but I don't know what. I should probably go put a dab of glue on that hole so it doesn't F stuff up.
Doing that mod wouldn't help me would it? It still uses that same neck which is VERY VERY VERY close to the spur.
