what do you want to use it for? C'mon give us some info. Also there have been around 50 of these threads in the last week so do a little searching and you'll probably find your answer. Also try reading RCU reviews or R/C magazines.

No, you missed the point. What he means is do you want a stadium truck to race? A Monster truck to bash? A regular ol 4x4 ST to play in the yard with? What are your plans for this and you may get a better answer although "best" is always subjective and in the eye of the beholder.....

Im going to assume nitro since you listed nitro vehicles, for nitro I'd go with the HPI MT2. For electric any Losi or Associated buggy would suit well.

You may find something for $400. But also remember the cost to just get it running. That should be about $75-100. That includes the batteries, fuel, fuel bottle, tools and other misc.

Exactly....I just got into the hobby, and did not consider these things into the cost and ended up spending way more money than I thought I would. I still find myself buying things. I would definitely plan on an extra 100 at least.

LOL, it was so funny. Just like a little light bulb went off in my head. Oh yea, I guess I do need some nitro to make a nitro truck run....Oh yea, I guess some glow plugs would come in handy as well, etc.....Before it was all said and done I felt like an idiot, and my wife was ready to kill me.
