Default Another Fun Day at the Gravel Pit

Hello all. Well here is my second vid of some bashin a few buddies and I did last Sun.. Axle and I tossed the camcorder back and forth a few times, Hence the reason you only see my Revo for a few seconds. (They did not want everyone to see a REVO showing them up. LOL) Conspiracy I tell ya.LOL. We had a Monster GT, my Revo and an LST running. Would have had a T-Maxx to but for some reason we could not get that dang thing to even fire. (That is another story of it's own.) I will be posting another vid shortly. One of the other guys that was with us (MetalH1) took some killer footage also, so I am just waiting for him to get it edited and posted. This vid is a little long but the end is pretty kewl. Anyway I hope you all enjoy! I know I did.

What a great place to bash do you work there or did you just walk up to the gravel pit and start running?

Unfortunally no, I do not work there. I believe the land is state owned and there are a ton of lakes out there that are free to the public to fish. We just went ahead and started running our trucks, thinking that if they did not want us there then they would say something. We make sure that they are closed for business before we run so that we are not in the way or anything. We get some on lookers and many times it is the guys that run the place. They check out what we are doing for a while, give us a thumbs up, wave then leave. No one has ever said anything to us. We are very lucky to have a place like that so we make sure and not mess with anything and clean our messes up. Hopefully they will continue to let us run there. I had fished there many years ago but had forgotten about the place until a buddy said that he has ran his trucks out there for the last 3 years or so. He said that he had never had any problems and some of the people that work there had came to him wanting to check out the trucks. So a few buddies and I started going there a few weeks ago and have pretty much tried to make this an every Sunday getaway.... All in all it is an absolute BLAST and I think as long as we stay out of the way and treat the property with respect, we should not have any problems.

Harsh landing dude.

Regardless though. There is nothing better than finding a great place to run that you can cause mayhem like that.
