Looked at your ad, you are asking to much. If you want top dollar out of everything split it up and sell seperatly. Also Take the Airframe to IMAC, funfly events and show it for sale. You can sell the Airframe with Hardware kit for $400, I know I have done it . Sell the Spare tubes on RCU
Also you say New, Sorry it's not new. It has been flown. THAT's not new anymore. Basically, you bought it and drove it off the lot. Instant loss...

$2000????? Look how the other planes that are similar are priced. This isn't a good place to make a profit. If you like it that much, just keep it.

Well, there is a reason no one has bought it yet. I was just letting you know there are other planes that are the same at a cheaper price. I realize they might not be equipped the same way. I thought you were wondering why you haven't sold it yet.

Nashbas I have a GP Patti Wagstaff with all Hitec 5645 metal gear digital servos thought, the best of every bit of hardware and a DA 50 W/Pitts muffler, and only flew less than a gallon of fuel. Price.........1100.00 + shipping. I've got several 33% extras, and Katanas, Yaks that can be bought for less than 2000.00 and their all in excellent condition. Most with twin gas engines, some with ZDZ 80. The price is what it's all about. See these plane on my models. Bob

Seriously..you can outfit a brand new one for close to that price..maybe not with the smoke and CF tubes but if I was gonna spring for 2000$ its gonna be brand spankin new..I would try and part everything out or lower the price..

I have trouble selling my planes after testing for anything close to what I have in them, most of the time I pull out all the hardware and sell the airframe alone. People are not as trusting as you might think.

I saw his ad and I'm looking for one of these planes but I past his up do to pricing. I think it's a beautiful kick ass plane with a lot of nice things done to it. I know how it is trying to sell used stuff. I have a car engine on ebay. It's a very nice 350 horspower small block chevy that's built to handle tons of nitrious. Put $3,000 and am hoping to get $1,000 back out of it.[:'(] It's just life.

Best way to sell a plane, is let some of your buddys who havent flown GS fly it.....by the time the tank is empty some one will be throwing money at you.....
Good luck selling it. I listed a new extra special with hardware kit at a large discount several months ago. With very little serious interest. Just sold it to a buddy who got a flight on one at his club.

Ebay is a good idea. Also mstroh3961 has a good idea about letting people fly it at your local fields.By making a few trips to IMAC contest and flying it you will also get better exposure.

RE: what is the best way to sell a WH
Used planes take price beatings worse then used cars. Seperating the parts or finding the right buyer is what its all about. $2k is really high for a used 28% plane. Case in point recently purchased RTF Carden CAP for $2k. Most times I see used 28% RTF go for $1K + and 35% for like near $2k plus and so on.
Ebay kicks butt in that sometimes people will get into bidding wars to win something. I was surprised on the things myself and other people can sell on Ebay. Shipping can be the only problem unless you specify local pick up.

From what I have seen as a general rule a 2nd hand model is worth about half what the new price for the same gear would be. It sux and you loose a fair bit of cash when it comes to selling RC gear. This is one reason why I don't sell stuff very often. Usually its just not worth it.

RE: what is the best way to sell a WH
yep it suck to have to lower the price when you gonna sell it but most of the time when you buy something too cheap,,,,,you get what you pay for!!!!
but they are right!!! $2000 was a little too high,, and one more thing there is no way you pent over $3000 in it,,, I got mine less than $2500 and I got everything you can think of CF,, like stab and wing tube, spinner,LG, li-ion,prolinks,8611, and also a DA in it and still under 2500k.
You can build a new one for under $1900 but not many peple like building and spending the time putting it togeather,, some like just to buy it RTF so there will be someone outhere wanting to buy it it just take time.
I sell lot of my staff here and you got to be patient!!!
Good luck!!!!

RE: what is the best way to sell a WH
I let guys fly Toms Planes and they want to buy one from Tom. Geno loves biplanes he saw me fly the Ultimate this weekend and he wants one. I also had a guy follow me to the field from the Camp ground He has a edge 540 and when he saw mine he was like wow I let him fly it. I bet he went home to Kick his edge in the spinner.
