Default dual brake help

I just had my truck apart to put on this kit (which was a pain in the *****) and i put it all back together, followed the instrutions, which were poor, and now the back wheels are locked. What is wrong?

My discs were a little tight, move them back and forth on the hub to loosen them up. After a little bit mine work great.

The longer drive shaft does go to the rear of the truck.

i didnt like the double disk setup it wore out after about 7 tanks, and i meen to the point that the brass piston that pushes the break pads was popping out the gear box. however i also didnt like a single carbon fiber setup because the fade was to high and i had little to no breaking when the disk was warm. I in the end made my own double disk setup using 2 carbon fiber disks, it still has fade but not as much and lasts alot longer.

Make sure you've got the setscrews in. You did locktite them ..right?[]. Yeah the kits a biatch to install. and the discs are very tight on the hub. They do loosen up pretty quick. Word of caution! get a center skid plate if you run in rocky areas. I straddled a rock and just caught those SS discs. Stopped the truck dead. bent both discs and locked everything up tight![X(] Took me awhile to get them free and straight again without taking it all apart. Make sure you check the mounting screws after the discs loosen on the hub. You don't need all those bigger washers/ shims either. I used 1 shim and 1 washer on each screw. I've been through a gal and the bent disc is the only prob I 've had. Well till I put a high torque servo on and now the truck rolls right over when I hit the brakes. 90% of the time back on it's wheels! I may even put the stock brake back on!

Sorry guys for the slow reply i was in florida. That was fun. anyway i guess i will try to switch up the drive shafts, im pretty sure i did it right though. The back wheels dont even seem to be connected to the front. When i turn the back wheels only the back wheels turn.

bTw i didnt locktite it, which screws? The manual didnt say crap just pictures. I think its kinfd of amazing that we pay so much for things that we have to take apart and upgrade alot of parts just to get them to work right. Why do they even bother with the AA reciever pack?

Yeah I made the mistake of not using locktite on my DD Brake kit and after 4 tanks I had no brakes. The screws almost completely rattled out and I had to take the truck apart AGAIN pain in the but but it should be good now[>:]
