Default RE: how do you flush an engine?

If I thought I go dirt in my engine I would not try to flush it I would take it apart and clean it WELL. All it takes is one grain of sand to mess it up. Do not try to turn it over till you check it out. Just did this a couple weeks ago when the air filter came off one of mine. The carburetor had dirt in it but when I took it apart the inside was fine. This would all so be a good time to seal it.
Good Luck

If you have dirt in it and do not take it apart to clean it you have a very good chance of messing it up. These engines are VERY easy to work on and if you are going to stay in this hobby you need to learn how. When I take mine apart I use brake parts cleaner to clean it but you do not want to get any of it in the carburetor or anything rubber like the o-rings in the carburetor. As far as flushing since I would not even thing about doing it to mine I am sorry I do not know what to say. But it is your engine do what you think is best.
Good Luck
