I'd choose the larger Yak assuming it looks like Quique's Yak and not the real one. If it's more scale like and looks like the real one with the "chicken" legs and those funny looking wheel pants, I'd then opt for the Sukhoi. Good flight performance is one thing but ya just can't overlook the butt ugliness 
(my opinion of course....I wouldn't drive a Pontiac Aztec for the same reason

Mark - that IS, beyond any stretch of imagination or nightmare, the absolute, hands-down, BUTT ugliest airframe I have ever viewed. I won't sleep now....I'd like to thank you for posting the photo....but I can't..... <VBG>

). Look at how close the gear comes together by the fuse. I wonder if the design engineer for the Aztec went to work for Yakovlev

Well I would have to disagree on the looks> i think the Yak 54 is one of the best looking aerobatic Planes out there along with the katana. As for Quique's Yaxtra I do not like it it looks nothing like the real plane the wing is way to low and fuse is not properly done at all it looks like they took an extra and changed the outline some and rounded the fuse some I do not see how it could of meet the 10% rule for the TOC. My vote would be for the YAK but make it a little bigger 102 to 104 inches.

well...
Don't get mad at me.....but I sorta like the looks of the Yak as well (w/ the exception of the landing gear). Qui Que's looked really nice....and so does the full scale. However...if I had to choose, I'd pick Qui Que's.

Those of us that have seen the full size one get wrung out know that whatever it lacks in form is doubly made up in function. It does the most unbelievable tumbles anywhere; much more gracefully than the Cap can do.
