Then Venom ones works extremely well
http://www.venom-racing.com/products.../vfs/index.htm
It goes in-line between the receiver and the throttle servo. It detects radio interfence such as another thransmitter o the same channel, out of range and also low receiver battery voltage.

This hobby is the only hobby where you really have to have money in. If you cant afford the $25 shipping insurance then u can afford the $25 nitro gas for it to drive.

I put the Ofna fail safe on mine. For 22 dollars or so, it was the best investment into my Tmaxx.

Why does everyone say "if you can't afford it don't get nitro"....what's up with that?!?!?! Is it exclusivly a rich man's hobby? I try to get as much as I can through ebay. Not that I wouldn't like to support my LHS, but if I want to be able to get the things I need, then I have to save where I can. The fact that I don't have the best of everything, doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the hobby as well as anyone else. Just my two cents.

I had an ofna micro failsafe and it burnt up unexpectedly, I picked up another one and it did the same thing.
I also have a venom smarttemp failsafe, and it works, but cut the range on my truck down to less than half the range I got previously (both on am and fm) I think it may just be too sensitive. I've heard this complaint from quite a few other venom smarttemp failsafe users, so I would say avoid the smarttemp, but I've heard the standard venom failsafes are great.
I have a futaba micro that I have been using for about two years and it is the only one I've used so far that hasn't given me any trouble.
