Default 3.3 advice

so noone had replied to my other post. but if i go with a 3.3 then what maintenance do i have to go with for post driving. i dont really plan on racing it per say against anyone. just the normal balling around in a field, maybe my dog chasing it or something. it wont be getting pushed that hard, and can i take it on the beach? is there something that i can buy that helps to keep sand out of the engine? i know lots of questions in one post. and you dont really have to be that nice. you can flame me all you want, im not that fragile

Well, normal after run maintenance is to clean the entire model of debris and dirt, wipe it down with a lightly dampened cloth, run the engine til it stops after emptying the fuel tank, remove the glow plug and squirt some after run oil or WD-40 into the engine, then turn the motor over while the oil is in it, and replace the glow plug. And charge the batteries. I may have forgotten a something, but everybody has their own after run procedure, yours may be waaaay different than my'n but thats basidally what I do. 1. Clean the living crap out of your truck (or model) 2. Empty and oil the motor 3. Make sure nothing is broken and charge the batteries. There aren't any special after run procedures that I know of with the 3.3. Hope this helps.

Exactly what kamo00 said. it takes about what guys, 3 minutes. Except i have never replaced my glow plug. You could take it to the beach but i advice that you go around to anything on ut truck that leaves oil or is wet. make it dry or cover it. then it will get stuck in sand, unless, you take the tires on it and put them backwards. They act like sand tires. the noly thing to keep sand out of the engine is the body, but the cleaning is easy. just take an air compressor with the air gun on the end and blow it off.
