Default Kavan Tires

I am using 5" Kavan tires on my CA260. They are going flat or splitting after each flight it seems. Is anyone else having this issue. What pressure do they need, maybe I am over inflating them.

Thanks

Every Flight??

I have them on a 27 lbs Cap 580 and land on a Paved Runway for the past 8 months.

There is wear but not ripping them apart after every Flight.

Adding Air on occasions.

A friend calls them Kavan "wheel pant busters" as everytime he has had a pair they have failed and taken the wheel pant with them!

They are wheel pant busters! They are light but have too much lateral play.

I quit using them. They either split or the hub came apart.

He's referring to a 38-40lb aircfraft on inflated wheels. And probably being in TX the heat is intense and the air a little drier.

I'd switch out to some dubro's or sullivans.....that kind of weight is worth adding.
