Mibo A-10 Pics and Info
Does anyone have any recent pics and building info for the large A-10 produced by Mibo in Germany and imported by Roger "The Jet Adic" Shipley? Thanks in advance.

A pair of blowers from 20 to 25 each-US Legal is a Max of 50 pounds total for twins.
A single in that range, in the case of a flame out, will fly the hog t/o to t/d and all maneuvers in between.

Thanks Roger.
Is there any particular technique in landing the A-10 with only one turbine running ? Lots of rudder ?
I guess it would be less difficult than a ME-262, as the engines are closer to the fuse centre line.

Yea CP, as the Dean of the Hog says, no special technique.
It will yaw toward the side that has flamed out.
There is less and less yaw as you reduce power on final.
You can use some rudder to prevent any side load.
The main thing with or without both blowers, assuming you use landing flaps, you are more likely to land short than long. This hog really slows down when you reach full landing flaps.
It is so big that you are further away than you would normally think.
It is extremely user friendly!

Yeah ,almost didn't know I was engine out. Still flew around for a lap or two to set up for an uneventful landing. Like Roger said may come up short, but just come in with a little more power and you will be fine. Billy

I'm pleased to hear that a single engine shutdown on the Hog is such a non event.
For some reason I expected it would be a real handful.
