check your wheel nuts, sounds like a loose wheel.... it could have rounded out a hex.

Ok, Ok, calm down for a minute.. First: check if the drive shafts in the tranny are spinning when you accelerate. If they are spinning, then you must check the diff... I don't really think its the wheel nuts.. If you checked the spur gear and the tranny, its your diff.. But first check your tranny and drive shafts.. Maybe a pinion broke down.. Let me know if this works.. I think its going to be an easy and cheap fix ... Hope this works...

You where over-revving the engine when you where only FWD. That's not a good thing. 5 Minutes of just FWD can do some damage to your motor.

Calm down guy everything is fixable, do some rcu and google searches if noone else responds. People really dont like it when others stay freaked out for more than a day.

so you say a wheel was loose? if so check to make sure the hex is ok, when that happens the hex turns into a circle...
its happend to me before and i tore the whole truck apart to find perectly good diffs.
check the hexs....

RE: EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
same here, center nut got loose, stripped plastic hex, front wheel drive only, product of excessive dougnuts, but man they were fun. Also, put something under it so all 4 wheels are suspended, turn a rear wheel and see if energy is being dispersed to other wheel or front wheels. If you spend one wheel and hold the front wheels, the other rear wheel should turn in the opposite direction, if not, probably stripped gears or stripped hex. If it does, then grab both rear wheels and try to turn them the same direction, if they turn and dont sent energy to the front, then you can check the screw that connects the rear drive shaft to the diff., night have worked its way out, if it is there, check the one at the tranny, if it is there also, then check the diff for ring and pinion gear.

RE: EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
most likely, to try a simple fix, change one of the front hexes to the rear and put the stripped one on the front, this should reverse the action(rear wheel only) but be sure to put the same rim on the same hex, chances are that the hex on the inside of the rim will be stripped too, dont want to strip two of them.

hey man sorry to hear all those troubles with your revo. just out of curiousity did you by chance check to see it your slipper clutch is loose at all? if thats loose the truck will not go very fast st all. that happened to my 3.3 revo the other day i forgot to double check the slipper clutch and it was real loose!! double check that and see. let us know ok.. and remember "BREATH" lol..

I dont know whats going on because your problems are reall inconsistant, its like you have a middle diff and your tires keep changin traction.

RE: EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you make sure your slipper was tight, and also did you fix the stripped hex, if you just swapped it to the front to see if that fixed the no rear pull prob, then you fixed that prob but made no front pull. check both front hexes again to be safe, you may have stripped one of them, also, if the hex is stripped chances are the inside of the rim is stripped too, make sure it looks like the outline of the hex on the inside of the rim with nice straight edges. Just for general knowledge, one side of the revo the rims loosen faster than the other side, all four are regular right handed threads, one side is constantly tightening, the other constantly loosening. Good rule of thumb is to check the center nut on the rims every time you put fuel in the tank, dont take but a minute and gives the engine another minute of rest to cool down. Good luck.
