Default 5V on Mainboard

Hi, everyone

Finally I got DF 5!

Would someone please clearly locate the pins which gives 5 Volts for additioinal LEDs?
From bottom side of the main board I can see 3 pin socket and 10 pin socket (from left).

From the pictures of the previous posts, I guess the fist and third pins give 5 volts.
But I'm not sure and can't figure which one is ground.

Thanks in advance.

These pics are from a complete Spectrolutions PDF.

I should use the 3-pin connector if not using the camera.

Enjoy your new beauty!

Here is a multi-pin to 3 pin adapter from DFI, it will save you time and give the the 5v that you need and let you still use a camera.

Sky, is this 10 pin to 3 min cable to one that you are using for your nav lights?

MoBiggz,
That cable looks (from what I can see from the picture) like it is using pin 1 pin 3 and pin 7 so that would be a 5v power on aux3
that is for a camera.

you can buy the 10 pin connector from Spectrolutions here:
http://www.spectrolutions.com/
Then just buy a servo extension wire from a local hobby shop cut of one end and make your own
You would need to use pin 1 (ground) pin 2 (Vbat) battery voltage and pin 9 (aux5)

I bought the battery male and female plugs from them and just made a small extension cable where my battery plugs into the board (it's to hard to get the bigger batteries plugged into the board the extension makes it easy and when you plug and unplug the battery your not yanking on the board). I added a pigtail that plugs into my lights from the extension cable, it was quick and easy.
Happy Flyin,
Lacey

MoBiggz, yes, the adapter in that picture is the one I'm using to get power to my lights. Last time I checked that adapter was free from DFI. You just have to ask for it. You could do all that has been described but why go to all that trouble when you get a cable that is already made and works!
