Default spur ?

man i was just rebuilding my shocks, and wile removing them i noticed that my
spur gead is warped bad.
is that common ?
and when i replace it what else should i replace ?
what teeth spur should i replace with, and clutch bell also?
i getting ready to drop in this STS .28 and a 3 speed.
with revo 3.3 40 serise tires and wheels.
all i really do is bash.

mine is a little warped but i havent stripped a spur yet. i would just replace ould warped worm out pieces

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Alot of the new savages have a "wobbly spur gear". Mine has wobbled for 3 gallons now without a problem. Wait till it strips to change it and a clutch bell will last a long time when running plastic spurs. I'd be more concerned with the bearings in the bell, they are more prone to failure.

Hi All,

Mine wobbled a bit, but I was in the strip the spur phase. I would keep an extra in my field box (and do) just in case.

side question, I just got a couple new spur gears and they have a metal bushing that comes with them, what's up with that??

Yes, it won't work with the dual slipper.
