RE: spur ?
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Alot of the new savages have a "wobbly spur gear". Mine has wobbled for 3 gallons now without a problem. Wait till it strips to change it and a clutch bell will last a long time when running plastic spurs. I'd be more concerned with the bearings in the bell, they are more prone to failure.

RE: spur ?
Hi All,
Mine wobbled a bit, but I was in the strip the spur phase. I would keep an extra in my field box (and do) just in case.
side question, I just got a couple new spur gears and they have a metal bushing that comes with them, what's up with that??
Cheers,
Leslie
