Fusion 90 v AM 30%
I know this is a long shot but, is there anyone out there that has flown both? Or something close? As everyone knows the Fusion is the greatest profile out there. I'm flying my fusion on the deck and can hover low as long as I like, rolling harrier's 10' off the deck and so on. Everyone at my club says I should go gas, and I may have a chance to get a Aviation Model 30% YAK. Will see a big difference, will it be more stable in show flight, more fun to fly, what will I notice?
Thanks

I haven't flown both but I have had many giant scale IMAC planes and good flying profiles. I'll let someone else comment on the specific flight differences between the two. But I will say you'll be more worried about damage, investment and safety. You'll become more picky about flying conditions and less likely to try that super low inverted harrier for fear of busting your pretty plane. The step you're talking about i sone which can yeild greater satisfaction from managing all this and being successful with a big, beautiful plane. Its just taking everything up a notch. IMHO, at that point it becomes more about satisfaction and accomplishment than fun. These days I'm flying my profiles more than my giants, simply because its easier for me to develop without having to worry about hauling them around of being afraid of trying something new down low. Having said all that, none of my giants are for sale.........

Dave, well said! I can't comment either on the specifics of the AM Yak as I have never flown one however I have 50, 100, and 150cc giant scale planes. I love flying them but never on the deck as I can't/won't take the risk of tearing them up. Too much investment! Like Dave, I find myself flying the profiles and electrics 100 fold more than the giants these days.

RE: Fusion 90 v AM 30%
Thanks for your replys.
I flew the 30% YAK Tuesday and------------- Although it did fly nice and stable I was not impressed enough to swap my Fusion + extra money for the YAK. Of course I only flew it once but to me my Fusion flys smoother and definitely does 3D moves better with no fear of big money hitting the ground. So I'm staying with the Fusion 90 and hopeing OMP comes out with a big Fusion next year, that when I'll go gas.
