muffler gasket
PE , i have a evolution 26gt2 and have bought a muffler for it but i did not get a muffler gasket . i assume a mv vs engine would use the same gasket. could you help me locate one ? [email protected]

i have checked on line for a mvvs dealer where i could order a couple . no luck. horizon hobby does not list one in spare parts for evolution g26. any ideas ?

If you need it urgently, Larry, just take the header/muffler and make an imprint on a piece of thin, automotive type gasket material and cut it out accordingly.
It will take you 5-10 minutes and there you have it.
If you want to wait, I, Pe and David can order it for you, or send from stock, for another two bucks.

I have for a number of years used 5min epoxy for exhast gaskets, just make sure the port is pointing down until the epoxy goes off, any epoxy inside the exhast stub gets burnt out straight away after starting and the epoxy sandwiched inbetween the cylinder head and exhast stub is protected by being sqashed, comes apart easily and is easily cleaned off.
