Kev. the CEN CT5 is rated at about 73MPH out of the Box with the included taller gearing and belt. that is with a CEN NX-15 engine. i think the 26 could put it well over 80 and maybe 90. getting late in the season so i prolly wont do it until spring for next year. but i may get a bug up my butt and do it in a few weeks. depends on how much Baja time i take.

Thanx, its not as pretty as it could be cuz all the parts have been put together here and there. some had light use, some had much, some had none. lol but all in all for a bunch of parts, it came together pretty nicely.

im out in the shed makeing a modded T-Maxx with a savage 3 speed tranny. right now im moking it up with a Picco 21, but will probably put the HB 26 on this monster, see if i can break 45 or 50 with it.

You are foolish to even think you could get a t-maxx to go 73mph. I'm LMFAO at 80 or 90. It is not possible.PERIOD

um REVO Eater or as i ll call you from now on, Durajunk Dude, do you KNOW HOW TO READ???? if you did you would of seen i wasnt even SPEAKING of the Tmaxx doing 80, i was taking about the CEN CT5 which already does 73MPH.
If your not going to take the time to READ A FREAKING THREAD BEFORE INJECTING YOUR WOODEN NICKLE, then you wouldnt be playing the fool now.. next time read the whole thing. these arent cliff notes, and ive been out of HS for a LONG TIME.

and if your such a savage dude, what you doing here except trying to stir the pot and finding things to Diss about Traxxas or anything else that doesnt fit in your narrow little view of life as YOU know it. grab some milk and cookies and OPEN YOUR EYES BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH next time.

OH and FYI, I own the HPI Baja so dont even throw the hpi/traxxas crap on the table or i ll get my Baja and run over you savage, then you ll NEED A SUBSTITUTE. Gimme a few days and i ll heve 2 tmaxxs you can BUY FROM ME>

Dude what are u talking about. It is easily possible. Well not easily but if u have a well paying job and know gear ratios and what not u can get it over 100 i bet. U jsut need the right engine.

U need a lot more than just an engine(suspension, tires, gearing, etc.) It's stupid to even try to get a MT to reach 100mph because of their high GC.

No it's not "easily possible"! It's not vary easy to get a T-Maxx above 60mph let alone 80-100mph. Even with the fastest race engines and right gearing getting a Maxx anywhere near those speeds is next to impossible without deep pockets. Most T-Maxx's are not stable at 45-50mph so being able to control it is a whole other issue.

Timmahh Nice Maxx but, the HB .26 is not much of a high rever but, you should be able to pull a taller gear in the CEN.

Madman, yea i was thinking about putting the Genny Gears on it. heard thats a nice way to gain gearing in the CT5. but the 26 may for now go into the racer maxx im throwing back together, i just finished fitting a HPI 3 Speed Tranny to a Picco 21 Maxx in a normally Tmaxx set up useing a Racers Edge Chassis RRP Diffs all shimmed out and new Team Bluestar bearings in a majority of it. i just put on the center drive shafts, and am fitting the chassis braces and the bottom plates, should have it ready to run by tomorrow afternoon. hopefully i can get it done befor the mail delivers a nice new Daves Motors 26 Zen fully ESP ported with the new center exit Xcan for my neighbors Baja. damn him, hes gonna make me spend money and put in the 30.5cc stuffed/stroked crank and have ESP port it for me. the bastage...lololol

AGAIN WITH THE TMAXX DOING 80. ARE people that think this is what i said Deff BLIND AND DUMB??? man people need to learn to READ AND LISTEN. no wonder 2/3rds the world thinks the USA is full of fat lazy americans. becuz only a few of them ACTUALLY THINK BEFORE THEY OPEN THEIR MOUTHS>>>>>

This is NOT a thread about a Tmaxx doing 80, its a thread about a shelf queen Tmaxx i finally put together. damn no wonder our teachers get paid so little the must SUCK cuz only a few people can read.

,no offense taken or ment, your post was good, you could tell you read it! lol i hope you didnt think i was aiming at you. For a TMAXX 80 Isnt impossible, but it may as well be. i d be happy if the Modded one i just about have finished would do 50. right now im using a Picco 21Maxx and a Savage 3speed tranny on the Tmaxx Drivetrain. should be interesting to see the results.

Steven, the CT5 is belt drive, and yes they hold up quite well until you get LITTLE stones in the gears. i have yet to have the belts slip, though it did throw one once, damn little stones....
another cat put a SH 28 in his CT4S earlier then switched it out to a different motor cuz he said the SH was a nightmare to deal with, i think he went to an OS motor but cant remember. the thread is in the CEN area of the site.
Timmahh

theres a pic in my gallery. but heres one for ya.

this was in March when i was heat cycling the engine.

Timmahh,

Where did you get those wheels? Will they fit on a revo? I'm trying to find a vendor of some good quality and aesthetically pleasing aluminum wheels.

those are CNR CrazyNut Racing Rims. they are standard Tmaxx rims, so i imagine they would fit a Revo. also look for sellers carrying RamTech Rims. they are also Very good quality and have some great designs too. got mine from the bay. the Tires are Hot Bodies Preators.
