Has anyone ever tried either one of these Blue Bird servos, or know what servo arms they are compatible with?
The specs sure look good, I am thinking of getting one.

I am using two BMS660MG http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id...50&pid=V644336 as throttle and brake servos in my FG Leopard Race.

The first I used gave up life after 5 minutes running time, with a literally EXPLODED MosFET.
It was replaced free of charge by contacting Blue Bird Models in Taiwan directly.

The two I am using now have been running for more than 10 hours, without a single glitch, and when I brake, they are used with a pull of more than 70% power.
Ok, as my finances are now better, I have ordered a couple of ACE DS1015 to replace them, when they give up on me.(Or when I feel the need to fiddle around with servos...)

All of the BMS6xx servos I have seen are standard size servos.

As for Servo Arms, they use a Futaba 25 segment Spline.

They are fine if your radio has EPA adjustments.

WARNING !!! Do not waste your money !
These servos are the most unreliable servos money can buy.
Between myself and a few freinds (7 servos)we tried these servos out and every one with exception of 1 servo failed.
If it wasnt teh fet popping it was gears stripping.
At a national a buddy had a servo fail in the qualifiers ,we loan him a brand new Bluebird and it wasnt working.

Buy a Futaba s3050 if you on a budget a lot ,more reliable and works great

I am sorry to hear that. I guess the reason I was attracted to them is because of their speed and torque. I have used Bluebird servos for several years in planes and never have had any problems with them. I am now using a couple Futaba 3305 servos in stadium trucks and doing fine with them. I would just like a little more speed. that 3050 also seems a little slow.

Futaba and Hitec servos are the way to go! These companies have always made reliable servos with very little problems. I trashed several Futaba servos(it was my fault) and Futaba's customer service is so good that they warrantied tham and gave me new servos!

I havee yet to trash any of my Hitec servos. Those things are like bullet proof rocks! (And they are cheap to too!)

so if you buy 3 620's at $24 each they cost the same as 1 ace 1313, would the three last as long as 1 ace?...

As I wrote earlier, I have replaced my BMS-660MG's with ACE DS1015.

The Ace is a bit stronger, but MUCH faster(DS-1015 Looked to be twice the speed of the BMS-660MG, when I tried them for fun, on a Y-connector), the ACE is also more accurate, and seems to center better.
I still keep the BMS-660MG's in my spares boks, in case I break one of the DS1015's
