LCG chassis makes a BIG difference. I would not have though it would help so much until I ran a set. Raced my Savage in its first race last Saturday and won against Revo’s.

Does the LCG chasis compromise bashing. If I do a big jump, will it hold up. I now do some racing and some bashing, but dont want to do a big jump and find the chasis hits the ground and sends shock waves through the car.

Very nice truck HYPA! That's gonna be a serious MT.

Seeing those Mugens makes me sad... A few months ago I had the chance to buy a complete rebuilt set with springs for $60 from one of their sponsored drivers and I passed before I really gave it much thought. That's a damn $120 setup... [:@]

That's a nice savage...If you get an extended chassis, You have to get the extended arms.

PM Chronic. his stuff is solid. comes with a thicker engine plate, and you'll have to dremel your rear engine cross brace to make it clear the rear drive cup, and remove the plastic collar around it.

pic of my savage torn down with the LCG chassis installed:

comparing stock X plates and Chronic's plates:

Give him time. After all, he may be caught up in other more pressing issues. Seeing the pics of some of his custom TVPs, I have no doubt that he will pull through and geti 'em done!

Can you still pull wheelies with the extended chassis?

I sent you a PM.

I hate that it has been this way, but I have had to put several people off here lately. We manufacture a product that requires independant testing. The standards were changed and we apparently were never notified of the changes or the deadline for them to be completed. Everyone at the shop has been running around trying to make the needed changes before UL yanked our listing. It's all squared away now and I can get back on top of these things for anyone who needs them. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The tyres are Pro-Line 40 series Crime Fighters. The shocks are Mugen MBX5 rear buggy shocks. I have considered getting an lcg chassis but I don't like the fact that you can't use a roto-start with them. I have also looked at the extended arms but far too much weight imo. I ordered a few more bits for my truck today and hopefully I will have them next week.

I ordered:

Lunsford Racing titanium upgrade kit (includes turnbuckles, hingepins, ball ends and ball type screws)
HPI purple aluminium tuned pipe
HPI adjustable upper arm set
HPI graphite arm brace set
HPI aluminium fuel tank mount
HPI heavy duty heatsink engine mount
HPI 3mm tvp graphite chassis set
OFNA throttle servo linkage kit

Hopefully these parts will help the car handle better and improve it's throttle and braking response.

More pics when I put it all together.
