How to install a hay's whip antenna?
It says receivers with 18'' of antenna wire and less to cut and leave 1 inch of antenna wire coming out of my receiver. I am supposed to cut the receiver wire? And I need to solder the othere wire to it.

which hayes whip antenna are you using?.....the base loaded hayes whip works well on the jets....i've never had any problems using the hayes whip.......

i made a mistake in commenting about the hayes whips.....i've never used a hayes whip......i only use the deans whip with great results on my jets.....
