RE: what engine
Heard bad things about the OS 30. It is made with old technology. It is not and ABC engine, it is an ABL. The sleeve is nickle plated even though they call it something special, it is just nickle and that is what they did on old engines. Wheres out fast and does not have much torque. That is what I learned from my research. Only 1 person said he loves his, but he can't tune a picco, one of the easiest engines to tune, so I have a hard time listening to him.
Two engines I have never heard anything bad about. Picco, and the LRP 28.

RE: what engine
the os 30 does not use old technoligy but it uses 2 thin layers of chrome over the standard 1 thick one making it last longer. and no torque eh? 103 oz isn't enough torque? Some thing like a STS .28 or Axial .28 both offer plenty of power and are both very realiable for a cheap price. I run the axial .28 in my savage and its wheelieing all the time on 15/49 gearing.

And whitey, a bigger engine won't give you more top speed. try running a 16 or 17 tooth clutchbell in your truck, and upgrade your clutch, and you'll crap your pants

My X wheelies just fine with 16/49 gearing and a good clutch...your Axial 28 should wheelie with 18/49 gearing

RE: what engine
because you keep using the brass bushing. Get some real shims (like this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNT03&P=7)

RE: what engine
I cannot disagree with the Ofna shim kit. Those are the best since they ome with the hex screws and accessories.
I have the HPI 5x10mm washers. I use those to replace the brass washer and I never had anymore problems as far as the clutchbell was concerned.
