Default Ready for the 13 PITTS Need any info

Hi Gang,
I'm getting ready for the Great Planes PITTS.
I could sure use any information, good or bad and suggestions on any modifications.
I assumed that an ARF had everything but it seems to need additional work to keep the motor from coming off.
Any info of anything related to the pitts will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance

Hi teefly,
Yes,Thats what everyone has been telling but me so far no luck finding info on that engine.
I would like to stay at the mid range of the size until I get used to it.
Thanks for the post

the ys 120 of course is for 120 sized planes. i flew it in a goldberg extra 300.......9-11 lb sized plane. the pitts is certainly too big for it. i think the ys120 has been discontinued and replaced by the 140. haven't looked but ys should have a website i would think or look at a vendors site. i know tower hobbies sells them so look at their site for info. i fly my gp pitts with the us engines 41cc gas burner and very pleased with the match. byt he way the ys is made by yamaha and has the only supercharger that really does indeed supercharge!

.teefly,
Yes your right.
I looked in the new TH catalog and I see some that will fill the bill for the pitts.
I think the PITTS comes out at 15-16 pounds and a bit more then I wanted.
Saw some others but I sure ike the 1/3 so now it's time to watch some fly and see if i'll be happy with the smaler S-2C 40 ARF.
Have to sit down and start adding things up.
Thanks for the post
