Default RCU at work a distraction for you too?

These forums, RCU in particular to me are very distracting for me at work. I try and keep my views down to 2-3 times throughout the day, but since I work in front of a computer all day (I ssh, telnet, kvm over ip, etc. to all of my test servers) I don't get up much. It is so easy to click bookmarks/favorites and hop on here many times throughout the day.

I guess as long as I do my job, the distraction doesn't bother my employer that much, if at all. How about you guys? Same thing?

Yeppers... a distraction. I sit on from of a PC all day and as you, I try to limit my views but 2-3 ends up being 8-10. ;-)

Oh yeah, big time. Fortunately, I work from home, though.

I try to limit my views to 2-4 times per day, but each session can last quite a long time.... I generally just have a tab in Firefox open to it all the time and flip back and forth.

Absolutely, aside from RCU I have bookmarked Putafile & Metacafe for videos and my LHS websites for parts research. Ebay kills my time more than anything else. Just cant resist it when you have a superfast connection. Probably would not do much here at work if I have a fast connection at home.

RCU is very distracting for me. I do my homework, and can't help but to double click on the "Internet" icon on my computer, and click the RCU bookmark. I mean, I start my homework at 4, but finish at midnight. I just don't get it.[:-][sm=72_72.gif][sm=75_75.gif][sm=71_71.gif][sm=confused_smile.gif][sm=red_smile.gif][sm=omg_smile.gif]

What's the body count on the drowned guys then?

Note to self- On visit to England, do NOT go to snowbl!nd's pool.

It's probably not reached double figures yet..... I don't think anyones ever drowned, just the occasional heart attack - in which case it's usually fatal.

To keep this thread remotely rc-related no one (that i know of) has yet put a remote control boat into the pool while the public were swimming. If i had one i'd sure do it.
