Hi Everyone. I am new to RC Universe
One of my friends put me up on this website. its pretty cool. I don't know much about RC cars. Just kind of got into them.
My Stable!
1/6th scale VW Bus (soon to have a motor swap) Hydraulics work too. it was a gift from the members of my website. Its from Herbie Fully loaded I think.
this one is being shipped to me currently
Tamiya Mk3 VR6 Golf GTI
Just scored it off ebay. it doesn't have a motor or anything, I came on here so I could learn about what would be the best route to take to make the golf just rip.
I have a lot of reading to do from the looks of things. I may post to ask questions, so please be patient with me, as I am just a noob!
I am a VW enthusiast, so my tastes tend to lean towards the VW scale RC cars.

Oh yeah I really want to see that thing Its huge!!! I hope to see body off like rcc18t145 said it should look sweet! You should stick a hv-maxx brushless setup in it the it would be the fastest vw van around!

I can snap some pics of the bus without the body on. its nothing really impressive. I do like how it has 4 wheel hydraulics and can raise up and down, left and right. its pretty nifty. even makes engine sounds and the horn actually Honks. more of a novelty than a racer. I will post them shortly!
I mentioned not all of the cars abopve are mine, just the golf gti and the bus. the others are my dream collection! LOL! Drool drool!

Ur right, it is huge. just to make the scale relative. here's one of my car club member's son who crawled into the box!
more of the bus!
we bring the Bus to our Car club meet every week, severl other members bring their cars (tamiya blackfoot, nitro evader, savage, wild willy) we have a good time just toolin them around. that and it kind of helps to get that racing need fufilled this way instead of street racing with our modded cars.

Among VW cars, I like the beetle 1300, bus and centered eyes beetle dune buggy, especially those dish rims! The front of the bus looks like it is smiling evertime I look at it.

Sounds good. I'm heading to the Velocityaddicts meet tonight, you bringing any of your cars? Ken said he'll be there with his savage and Ron with his evader. I was going to dropp a 12t into my alfa romeo.............just havn't had time[:@] I'll have a truck anyway..................see ya there
