RE: k&n air filter
I had a K&N in my real car and they are designed to allow better breathing and more air through but you have to keep them clean and well oiled. This equates to more finer particles going in if not maintained properly and for nitro engines running in dirt can quickly spell disaster. I would stick with the foam and keep it well oiled.

what 46u said. that's what I run on my Jeep and bike, but when it comes to RC's I run a good RC specific air filter. motor saver on my AD2, and the stock filter on my Sav X
