RE: H9 Taylorcraft/Saito 182 Twin ?
I checked into the same thing a few years ago and was told that part of the carbs / velocity stacks will protrude through the cowl . By the time I made up my mind what to do they were no longer available . It was one plane I was sorry I never purchased - although I would have gone with another engine . Somewhere in the archives here is a pic of one with a Saito 182 in it - I think .
I have a very old Saito 270 with an upward facing carb / velocity stack and run into the same problem. If the plane doesn't have a round cowl, it sticks up thru the cowl [:'(]
Here is a link to a guy that installed a Saito 182 in a H9 Taylorcraft. There are no pics but maybe you can contact him. It is from 2002.

I have been flying this combination for 4 yrs. now, flies very scale and sounds great. Added an Expert on-board glow this year. Everything fits in the cowl, you just have to cut a couple of slots for the needle valves. Exhaust stacks needed to be made longer with brass tubing to exit out the bottom.
