check the humongous thread on the GPPW EXTRA 300s. I think you must have bumped your head on the way to the computer not to have included it. Drop some of the junk off your list for better response and consider what you see being discussed more. ps. nice formatt on pole

Check out the threads on the Kangke Laser and Hurricane and read the report in RCU magazine. By the time this list is big enough to actually mean something it will take an hour to read through it.

Best ARF of the Year --- VOTE ON IT!!!
Unfortunately, I don't have exposure to every new ARF out there and I can't actually edit the poll once I create it. Solution: Add more poll threads.
"DP Edge" Though I have been exposed to most of the 10 ARFs I've listed, some I have not. I picked the DP Edge because it is/has been advertised as available for some time. I also tried to limit my list to those airplanes that were either released in 2002 or came into popularity during 2002. There are several ARFs from previous years that I would add to my favorite's list:
1.) *Ultra Stick 120 (I've owned 4 of these)
2.) *Thunder Tiger Fun Tiger (the most popular profile to hate -- have owned 4 of these)
3.) *Tequila Sunrise
4.) *Model Tech ME-109 (40-size)
5.) *Model Tech Joss Stick (own ARF and ARC)
6.) *Hanger 9 1/4-scale Cap 232 (Just now Assembling -w- Moki 180 and Hitec Digital servos)
7.) *Creek Hobbies 120 Sukhoi
8.) *World Models P-40 Warhawk
9.) Hanger 9 Edge 540
10.) Hanger 9 1/3-scale Cap 232
11.) Hanger 9 1/4-scale Cub
to name just a few.
* Personally own/owned

Best ARF of the Year --- VOTE ON IT!!!
I think you need to at least bump the Dazzler and H9 P-51D off the list. They are good airplanes, but far from candidate for best ARF.
My vote too is for the GP Patty Wagstaff Extra. I haven't put mine together yet, but even if I didn't own one, I would have voted for it. After the glut of 1.20 aerobats that do take kindly to gassers, kudos to GP for offering a great quality ship that's large enough for the smaller gassers, but not big enough to break the bank.

RE: Best ARF of the Year --- VOTE ON IT!!!
My two votes are haands down:
Goldberg Tiger II with OS AX 46 and 11 x 5 prop
Hanger Nine Ultra Stick 120 with OS 160 and 18 X 6 prop
These two planes do it all for the sport flyer and are always fun to fly.
Although I have only had the new Goldberg Tiger 120 flying for three days, I think I would put it on the top three list also. Have Goldberg Tiger 120 with OS Surpass 1.20 four stroke and 16 x 6 prop. What a flyer and lander!! Unbelievable airplane so far!!

My vote is for the Great Planes Big Stick .40 size, even though it isn't on the list. I have one with an O.S. .46FX, and I love it. Pretty much anything you want to do, and really tough. I'ts taken a few rough landings, and it always bounces back for more.

How come the Sig LT-40 arf wasn't on the list. IMHO thats the best plane out there. Its been around forever, one of the most popular trainers used, lots of uses. Heck alot of the Sig's should be on the list for the quality and price.

The Phen. Super Decathlon should be on the updated list. Its really inexpensive, built well, covered well and is a fantastic performer.

It IS an old thread. You got me there.
The Sig 4* series has to be on the list. The FuntanaX's will be on the list soon.
For retro flying I still love my Ultra Stick 60 with STG90 engine, but it definitely has some wierd rudder/pitch coupling.
