Default jan 2006 issue #25... duratrax vendetta???

in this issue you guys did a fairly good job at reviewing the vendetta.. but you guys overlooked something.. the motor.. this motor has adjustable timing,, and since it is a rtr i would assume it would be safe to test it with the timing advanced..

advancing the timing does require the use of needle nose pliers and turning the endbell,, which take a lil effort.. but the results are more than worth it..

i have a vendetta and i love everything about this buggy.. i race on a 10th scale track with huge 10th scale jumps.. and this buggy takes a lickin and keeps on tickin..

it would be nice to see another review.. either with it hopped up or with the stock electronics and just the vr3 motor (which also has adjustable timing ) and see what you think then.. there have been plenty of reviews done of cars that have been hopped up .. i would like to see the vendetta also as one of these vehicles.. hopped up and with your seal of approval.. trust me you wont be disappointed..

btw have you guys thought about doing a head to head with the other mini buggies... a stock rtr version of the head to head has been done,, but to see true performance out of any vehicle one must bring it potential out.. do a hopped up version,, like a race spec.. or something,,

my vendetta currently
mamba esc
wraith 7k motor geared 13/49
proline half8th wheels with crime fighters
CF servo plate
CF battery hold down
airtroniks micro RX
3RACING mini-t front shocks single hole piston with 70wt fluid, yellow spring
70wt fluid in rear stock spring
silver anti roll bar in rear
alum duratrax cvd's and outdrives
duratrax ball diffs in rear
jracing z4750 servo
duratrax alum shock bushings,, front and rear
duratrax alum front knuckles..

also this thing begs to get dirty.. i would say show pics of it at a track,, since it is a racer and not at the playground.. my opinion, it is less of a basher and more of a racer..

just my lil rant.. please forgive if i sound like a giddy lil kid..

thank you ,
jae
