Looks great! Wonderful pix too. I did a chunk of my flight training in one of those. Great little plane. Yours has a pretty good scale look to it also. Here is a pic so you can compare.

Hello-
Looking forward to your review... How was the G-26 for power. Was it enough for spirited flight or do you need more motor for this project? Thanks.

Dick,
I read your review and I too was disappointed by the same things you mentioned and a few more.
1) The rudder pull/pull routing is terrible, rubs on fuse at rear, control horns should offer more adjustment (you mentioned this and rightly so replaced them with conventional horns).
2) Engine is mounted so high that it is difficult getting proper air flow to cool the motor.
3) the control horn bolts supplied with the plane are too short for reasonable engagement in the control horn. Bolts should be longer.
4) the supplied hinge points have EXCESSIVE play between teh pin ahd the plastic hinge point. The diameter of teh pin is too small for thehole it is inserted into. These really should be replaced with a genuine Robart hinge point. I would also like to see an additional hinge on the rudder and elevator, my preference would be for 4 per surface (personal preference).
In general, there was not much thought put into the elevator and rudder control routings. The gas tank mounting, suspended from the upper tray is also strange.
I think for $500 the plane is not a very good value. the overall quality is fair at best, and the attention to detail is lacking.

RE: Cessna 150 Aerobat 150
I am grateful for Dick's report ( and Gordon). I just saved a ton of money and time. My disappointment is great. I looked with anticipation for this model, as it was promised to be what I had really looked forward to. I thought that RC GUYS had gotten the message that there was a market out there for a really great plane presented with a truly quality kit. The price indicates that quality is included. The review was done in Petit's objective and informative style. I am sure that he tried hard to be positive in his remarks. They were revealing. What was revealed was that it takes a whole lot more time and money to bring to the consumer an above average product than the public is aware of. I believe that RC GUYS became aware of this shortly after getting into this.
Having said all of that, I believe that RCG could succeed if they could effectively work with the manufacturing process. They must have worked hard to assure that specifications were understood. But dealing with another culture, another language......well, that must be difficulty to say the least. GP and others have gone throught this. I really hope that RCG can overcome, what seems to be only a few issues, but in reality expensive to deal with.
I wish I could be a customer of RCG..........but not quite yet.

I Didn't get the read the review. What's wrong with the plane and what needs to be corrected? Is it really not worth the asking price? The CMpro 81"182 has very good scale looks but no telling how it flys.
