Spektrum radio problem?
there is so much stuff in the RC world that its hard to get a straight answer.
I'm lookin' at a new radio, and everyone says the Spektrum in the way to go. I talked to one hobby shop, they agreed, I talked to another, they said the opposite. He told me that Spektrum has a problem with overheating of the throttle board or something, and that Spektrum knows of the problem but hasn't fixed it yet or something....any truth to this or what? I'm a little confused.

RE: Spektrum radio problem?
No truth at all in the overheating crap.
I say go for spektrum, but if you can wait, the other companies (Hitec, Airtronics) will release 2.4ghz systems soon, which are very likely to be competitive.

He probably didn't lie, just misinformed. But he must still no crap all about stuff to believe that electronics in a TX could heat up....
The battery lasts pretty well, heres a review...
