Default paint for styrene and solartex, suggestions?

I'm building a late '70's Coverite kit of a Gee Bee model D (it's a nightmare in progress or I'm just spoiled for the newer kits). I plan to cover it with Solartex, the kit has styrene wheel pants and I plan to form cowl panels out of sheet styrene. The paint would have to be compatible with styrene and Solartex. I have read that Alkyd oils and latex are both ok with styrene. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
