My first turbine run today
I ran my first turbine today. It is a JetCat P-70. I have been setting it up in my Reaction 54 that I have had for about two weeks now. It was very exciting and just too cool. I have been to several Jet shows and enjoyed the sound of turbines firing up many times, but it sounds different when it is yours and you are controlling the throttle. The engine ran great and the power was unlike anything else I have had before. My most recent adventure into ducted fan jets doesn't even come close to the thrill and power of a turbine. I must admit that although I am excited about flying my jet soon, it seems a little intimidating with this kind of power.

Oh yeah !!
You are hooked now. When you get it ready, come on over to Nashville. Or, come on before. We'll get you some stick time on something before you fly yours. We're always looking for new jet blood in the area.

Your going to have a blast with the Reaction and the P70, I have dozens of flights on mine with the same combination. The 70 will really push it around well. It's only going to wet your appetite for something even faster!
