Savage X SS Pullstart
Has anyone had any problems with their Savage X SS pull start (breaking etc.)? Is it harder to start the engine with a pullstart?
I just wanted to know if I have to buy the Roto Start Backplate as I already have the Roto Start 2 from my Savage X.

Havent you already posted this? Anyway, I getting the X SS, and you might as well try the pullstart. If you dont like it you could replace it, but I think you should give it a go first. They are not that hard to use. Blow down the pressure line to prime them though. Some people prefer pullstarts, and some rotostarters.

RE: Savage X SS Pullstart
I have over 7 gallons on my K4.6 and the only time I had a problem was my fault from trying to start a flooded engine. I all so do not have more batteries to charge or go dead and more to carry around. Yes the roto backing plate is different on the K4.6 and the 4.1 or 25. On the K4.6 the one way bearing is inside the engine.
