Default 2 or 3 speed tranny shift points?

Hi all. I was bench racing the other night and got to wondering about 4 stroke motors, rpm, and shift points. Please don't poo poo a 4 stroke just yet. I was wondering if the hpi, for instance, 3 speed would or could be set to shift at say 10,000rpm and would it stay engaged with a slight drop in rpm right after the shift. Like I said, bench racing(and general telling of lies with the guys) but would this work?

mostlikely it will stay engaged, but do eman a slight drop in rpm because theres more load on the engine (engaged second) or you letting off the throttle, becaus eit might disengage if you do, but if not it will stay engaged, tahts what the transmission is designed to do
