Feibao F-15 Custom Paint Pictures!!!!
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to show you all some pictures my Dads F-15 I am building for him which we had a custom paint scheme done at the Feibao factory back in June.
Its been sitting in the box all that time but I've got stuck into it the last 3 weeks and after allot of work its ready for the Turbine install then she will be ready to go.
Retracts, doors, Tanks, servos ect all installed.
Power will be a Jetcat P-80 to start with but if it needs more power we will install a PST1300R.
Regards Peter G.

RE: Feibao F-15 Custom Paint Pictures!!!!
Hi Jeremy,
Yeh I thought it would be no probs and we are also updating the ECU for our 3x P-80's they should go allot better again
Max will now be around 123,000 instead of the std 120,000
Whats the weight of your F-15?
PS my F-18 I spoke to you about is almost finished too.
Just need to now get my but into gear and get to some of the Jet Meets we keep missing.
would of been good to meet ya at Wangaratta.
Cheers Pete

RE: Feibao F-15 Custom Paint Pictures!!!!
Hi Pete,
Mine came out at about 12 kg, maybe a bit under. I want to do another F15, I rekon I can get it even lighter! I got my ecu upgraded too, made a massive difference on takeoff, I run it fully by-passed and it flies great. Were you at Wang? I met alot of people there.. Was a great event except for the damm heat!!

My next project is the PST F9F Panther which is a made to a much higher standard and will be a allot quicker to build.
Engine will be the new PST800R which will be a great package.

It was painted by Feibao, I sent them all the documentation etc of what we wanted painted and it was then
done at the factory which took a couple of weeks to get painted but looks very good in the air.
We wanted it done differently to the standard pain schemes you mainly see.
As it is now a listed as there new paint scheme we will do our own next time
cheers Pete

Hi Heraldo, Re- F15 colour codes required for Fei Bao, You should not need anymore than to send them a photo or two for reference purposes to any prior FB comercially available colour scheme on their complete range of models as these are ones they keep on file at the FB factory. If you were to say request a custom colour scheme from your local Fei Bao rep- ie colours the factory were not familier with you would be required to send FB detailed documentation 'as much as possible' and be prepared to wait a little longer than normal for your custom finished order painted model.
To date we have had four custom non- standard paint schemes produced for Aussie customers that are also now popular sellers from FB- For the MB-339 'OLD CROW' (all red scheme), Saudi Air force and Argentine Navy colour schemes.
For the F-18A an RAAF 20th Anniversary scheme. The custom paint finish quality from the factory is pretty good as far as colour and graphic matching goes. Most of these colour schemes are now viewable listed throughout the FB website.
Let me know if I can assist anyone further with custom FB finish requests as we are able to place detailed order requests directly in Chinese language which makes life a lot easier....
Hope this helps[8D]

Go for it
It is a nice looking model in the air but it does get hard to see on a cloudy day so you will need to keep it closer.
Keep it as light as you can and it will fly very nice. ours is just under 24lb w/o fuel and powered with a PST1300R
