Default Battle of the old Ofna's

I can get a sweet deal on some older NIB Ofna's from the Local LHS.

But the Question is, Which one?

Pirate 10 RTR

or

Dominator RTR

And before someone shoots their mouth off saying get something newer so you don't have to worry about finding replacement parts, blah, blah, blah, T-Maxx, Blah, Savage. I don't care. I will be fabricating most of it custom myself as parts break and become worn.

I lean towards the Pirate just because it looks better, but that always isn't the best way of going about things.

NO Other Suggestions

Well,,,,,,,,,,you can always customize the looks if you want. Remember the Pirate is 1/10 scale and the Dominator is 1/8. So that's up to you on what your preference. Personally I like the big ones. Those two models are very closely alike, i believe some parts are interchangeable. Its true though that parts are hard to find nowadays.

I myself got a good deal on a used Dominator, they are pretty bulky, it has some stock aluminum parts on it, looks heavy but can move pretty quick and very stable too. So I guess the Pirate would be a little quicker since it has the same engine on a smaller truck.

Which ever one you choose, both trucks are good and tuff bashers.

How much of a good deal are you looking at?

I say flip a coin. I have allways liked both of those RC's for bashers. I used to race with a guy who ran a dominator in an open monster class. He was quick!!

my vote goes towards the dominator. Wish I would have got one instead of a 2.5 t-maxx a couple years ago
